Greenfield Controls grew from our own experience of building a low energy family home.
We understand that meeting airtightness standards and ensuring proper ventilation are vital — not just for comfort and health, but for keeping energy bills down too. With over 15 years’ experience, our Bradford-based team supports homeowners, landlords, and construction professionals across Yorkshire, Lancashire, and the Humber.

Mark Bendrien
Director – Engineering – Technical – Operations
Mark is our main engineer and Technical Director, and the person you’ll often see on site making sure everything runs smoothly. He’s a Passivhaus certified tradesperson with a real passion for airtightness and ventilation, developed from building our family home. Mark now shares that experience with others — whether it’s consulting on large projects, helping teams meet energy standards, or delivering training to contractors and housing professionals. He’s always keen to make the technical side clear and practical, so everyone feels confident about creating better, more efficient buildings.
Elizabeth Bendrien
Director – Business Development – Administration – Finance
Elizabeth keeps everything running smoothly at Greenfield Controls. She manages accounts, supports business development, and ensures the day-to-day operations are organised so the team can focus on delivering excellent service. A qualified teacher, Elizabeth also helps create training materials, bringing clarity and practical insight to our courses. Friendly and approachable, she’s often the first point of contact for clients and is always happy to help with questions or bookings.
