Leeds: PassivHaus Development
2 years long term project support on this high spec, zero energy project outside Leeds. Working alongside the Developer PureHaus, we provided Training, Airtesting, MVHR Installation & Commissioning along with wider Project Support and Trouble-shooting. Working closely with the client and main contractors we provided necessary support to ensure the high standards of PassivHaus were met across all 20 homes.
Manchester: Grade 2 listed, high energy efficiency Renovation Project
Involved in this project from a very early stage, we provided advice and support during design and planning application. Once work started, we supported with on site consultancy & troubleshooting as well as installing and commissioning the complex MVHR system. The size and complexity of the property meant two units were required to create an efficient system – we worked closely with the designers and other contractors to ensure key milestones were met. We also provided Airtesting & leak finding services at a schedule designed by the client, to support the high energy efficiency goals of this project.
Ilkley: Noise reduction adaptations to existing MVHR system.
We worked closely with the homeowner and neighbours to identify the cause of a whirring noise which had become audible during recent renovations. We added directional outlets to point away from the neighbour’s bedroom window and replaced part of the ducting with specialist XPS ducting (low sound attenuation) to reduce some of the noise transference.
